Breaking News! Gluten-Free Prairie to help feed malnourished babies in Africa!

Silhouette of a large tree against a vibrant orange sunset sky.A couple of months ago I was contacted by a medical school in the Midwest wanting to know about our Gluten Free Prairie Toasted Oat Flour. They were formulating a high-protein (RUTF – “Ready to Use Therapeutic Foodâ€) to be used to treat severely malnourished babies in Sub-Africa.  Ultimately we were chosen for  a trial involving 1200 babies! We have partnered with the medical school along with a Nutritional company in Georgia to make it happen. Our Gluten-Free Toasted Oat Flour will be used to make a high-protein paste for these babies. The awesome thing is that with this Oat Flour Paste their parents can bring their babies home from the hospital where they can easily administer it to them. Nurturing and nourishing them in a home setting – and Bonus – away from all the other sick people in the hospitals. The doctors believe they will see results in 4-8 weeks.

I will share more about this story as it unfolds.Starving children reaching out for help in a distressing scene.

We are thrilled to be part of this very important project which is proof of what can be possible when a few people come together to make a difference in our world.

Thanks for stopping by today.
