Cheesy Sausage Bites

Our Pizza Dough makes a delicious little cup for these savory little bites. A perfect addition to your game day. Or, add them to a buffet, or serve with soup.
Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 1# Mild Italian Sausage
- 1 – 8oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 – 10 oz can Rotel diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ Gluten-Free Prairie Fresh Pizza Dough – or ½ prepared Pizza Mix
Instructions
- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Spray mini muffin tin with nonstick spray
- Set out Pizza Dough to soften
- In a large skillet, saute sausage over medium-high heat until browned throughout
- Remove from heat and drain
- Stir together sausage, cream cheese & Rotel in large bowl
- Add cheddar cheese & stir to combine
- Set aside
- Roll out Pizza Dough (approx ¼” thick)
- Use a small juice glass to cut out circles (approx. 2” in diameter)
- Place dough circles in muffin tin
- Scoop sausage mixture into Pizza Dough
- Sprinkle each with a little more shredded cheese
- Enjoy
- Bake for 15 min or until golden brown.
- Recipe can easily be doubled
